And so it begins

So I've decided to make a blog. Everyone I know has started one and I've decided to make one to show off me playing games. I tried livestream, but I don't ever get viewers on that.

I'm trying to figure out an easy way to record games, as most games become unplayable while using something like fraps. Source engine games are simple because you can create demos and record them later. I've heard that ZD soft screen recorder is a good solution, but I haven't tried it and skype tries to use it as a webcam and crashes. Does anyone know of any other solutions?

    Fraps and VirtualDub are what I use for recording and authoring. If you have the disk space, you can't really beat fraps. Saving a frame 30 times per second is bound to impact performance.
